ABOUT THE ROLE

Lead a team of Mid Market sellers with a focus on driving new sales and meeting or exceeding team quota goals.

  • Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that focuses on driving net new business.
  • Hitting planned company/team sales targets.
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the Growth Sales Team.

On a typical day you’ll:

  • Coach develop and Lead a team of 6-7 Mid Market Account Executives here at Orca
  • Actively participate in customer in person meetings, calls, and any customer interaction that helps the team in getting deals closed
  • Model good salesforce.com hygiene by managing sales process, and reinforcing activity standards for performance metrics
  • Report on sales metrics and forecast to senior sales management
  • Motivate Individuals and team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship and enablement
  • Collaborate with the key stakeholders across the Orca Security business including Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Sales Development to ensure efforts are properly aligned and executed.

ABOUT YOU

  • 2+ years experience managing, hiring and training Account Executives to achieve performance goals
  • 4+ years closing experience in a sales role
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Experience selling as a mid-market or enterprise seller- preferably in cyber or cloud security
  • Experience developing a new territory and team
