POSITION OVERVIEW

Orca’s finance team is growing and we are looking for a highly motivated Senior bookkeeper to join our team. If you're a fast learner, team player that can work independently, Orca is the right place for you!
Your day to day role will be:
  • Managing all bookkeeping aspects of the company (Israel & US & other countries).
  • Take lead on the month- end close: Prepare the trial balance and supporting documentation for the monthly closing, including recording accruals and prepaid expenses.
  • Prepare and submit to the payroll providers the payroll data.
  • Review payroll drafts and prepare monthly salary analysis.
  • Act as a point of reference for employee payroll queries.
  • Take part in the implementation of new systems and process.
  • Help improve and define bookkeeping policies and procedures.
  • Manage the payments cycles for all the company.
  • Fixed assets – Additions, deductions and depreciation JE.
  • Manage employee travels and expense reports on a monthly basis.
  • Ad hoc accounting projects as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of service and confidentiality.
About you:
  • Bookkeeping qualification- Level 2-must, Level 3- advantage
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper
  • Certified Israeli payroll controller – Advantage
  • Experience in High-tech companies – Must
  • Strong verbal and written English skills – Must
  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment
  • Experience with NetSuite – Advantage
  • Experience working in a global company
  • Strong technical and organizational skills
  • Reliability and deep knowledge of Israel payroll rules
  • Independent, detail-oriented, a team player, and a good multitasker
