ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sr. Director of Partner Marketing leads the organization responsible for Partner Marketing strategy and execution across all partner types, Cloud Service providers, channel and tech alliances. This role will lead the team responsible for partner planning, partner demand gen programs, and partner related events.

The Sr. Director of Partner Marketing is the partner champion on the marketing team working across the marketing organization to leverage partners. This role is responsible for determining and developing joint marketing plans with assigned partners. With a strong operational instinct this role will drive the MDF planning and approval process, and lead both partner led and Orca led programs that generate leads and associated partner pipeline. The Sr. Director of Partner Marketing leader is responsible for senior stakeholder management within Orca and with partners. The ideal candidate understands the value of partnerships, works collaboratively and knows how to build and lead a team.

As part of the role you'll:

  • Hire and develop a team of partner marketing professionals that plan and deliver partner demand generation programs including integrated campaigns, digital marketing, webinars, and events. 
  • Work closely with partner sales leaders and other marketing teams to develop strategy and plans that will meet goals including marketing qualified leads, associated pipeline value, and partner customer references.
  • Work with cross functional teams on product launches, sales plays and global initiatives to be the partner champion.
  • Create strategy and marketing plans across partner types, CSP, Channel, tech alliances.
  • Act as marketing liaison with the global marketing team on communications and key initiatives
  • Report results from programs executed with and through partners; share results with Field team, work with marketing leads on program utilization and deliverables

Requirements

ABOUT YOU

  • 10+ years experience in software B2B marketing role with partner experience  
  • Experience in cloud security or security field 
  • Strong leadership collaboration with experience working cross functionally internally and with partners. 
  • Strong point of view on how to measure partner marketing impact and performance 
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbally, and with PowerPoint
  • Key interpersonal traits: self-starter, creativity, adaptability, unquestionable ethics & integrity, and a willingness to take calculated risks
  • 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering global partner programs and strategy.
  •  Experience building and growing high performing partner marketing teams across partner types.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
