ABOUT THE ROLE

We are growing and looking for a highly motivated, talented, Hands-on IT /IS Engineer to join us. If you are an experienced IT/IS Engineer with a service-oriented approach, strong communications skills (in other words- loves working with people), and thrives in a fast-paced environment, Orca Security is the place for you! With us, you’ll be providing support and service to all company employees while developing, implementing, and coordinating IT systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Help contribute and lead IT projects of implementing and maintaining tools and new technologies
  • Tech support - Support end users and day to day operations. Providing general IT issue resolution and support of the global team.
  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software & hardware
  • Responsible for boarding processes E2E.
  • Manage IT inventory, and software licensing.
  • Help with Information Security certification processes (PCI, ISO, SOC 2, etc)
  • Assist with On-boarding our US Remote users: trouble shooting laptop set ups, create accounts, set permissions, licenses, etc.
  • Handle security alerts, business-critical IT tasks, systems administration, user management and SSO.
  • Distribute updates, controls, and tools using a distribution system.

Requirements

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist
  • 2 years servicing growth stage companies.
  • Excellent hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Provide training for users
  • Knowledgeable in provisioning, setup and support Mac/ Windows , mobile devices. (MDM)
  • Great communication skills, and a people person, user-focused and love helping out
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once. Self -driven
  • Provide after hours and weekend support on an as needed basis outside of general working hours
