Orca now supports an integration with monday.com, a project management tool that many developers and security teams use as a ticketing solution similar to Jira. This integration allows teams to streamline security remediation and automate the entire alert lifecycle process.
Send the right context to the right team member to streamline remediation effort
The Orca Platform collects data across cloud workloads and configurations to deliver the details in a consumable way to precisely prioritize risk. When there is no ticketing system integration, a security analyst gathers this information and packages it into a ticket to manually kick off the remediation project.
Integrating with monday.com allows the data from Orca to flow directly into a monday.com task – without requiring a person to hunt, gather, and scribe – so that whoever is responsible for the fix has all the information they need to remediate the issue.
When setting up the integration, create a template that fits your workflow. Just drag and drop what Orca fields you’d like displayed in the Monday ticket fields. For example, you may want to include the affected asset’s unique ID, asset name, cloud account ID, the Orca Alert ID, Orca Risk Score, alert details and recommended remediation, then automatically assign a cloud engineer to the ticket. The risk score prioritizes the incoming work, and the other fields tell the cloud engineer precisely which asset needs help and how to fix the issue.

Automate the alert lifecycle process
The Orca integration with monday.com also enables administrators to automatically create tickets for alerts that meet certain criteria.

Users can also manually create a ticket on specific alerts that don’t meet the automation criteria.

Whether the ticket is manually triggered or automatically created, developers and security analysts can now see Orca details in their monday tickets, spending less time verifying issues, and more time focusing on what matters.

Once an alert has been resolved, Orca will automatically update the monday.com ticket to the status as designated in the template.
