Description
An Elastic IP address is a public IP that is reachable from the internet. You can associate an Elastic IP address with an EC2 instance or a network interface to enable communication with the internet. It was detected that the EC2 Elastic IP address {AwsEc2ElasticIpAddress} has no association with an EC2 instance or a network interface. An EC2 Elastic IP address with no association still owes a small fee even though it is unused. For more information about Amazon EC2 Pricing, see: https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/pricing/on-demand/-
Recommended Mitigation
It is recommended to release an IP address from usage if it is no longer needed.
