Today we’re spotlighting Gidi Sidis, Threat and Remediation Manager working from the Tel Aviv, Israel office.
Why did you choose to work at Orca Security, and when did you join?
I joined Orca in November 2020, and I chose to join the company because I had worked with some of the founders and employees before and knew how strong they were.
What advice do you have for people getting started in your field?
My advice is to be eager to learn new technologies as this industry is always changing. You should also be open to working in a dynamic and agile environment for that very same reason.
How has working at Orca Security challenged you to grow?
Working at Orca has allowed me the opportunity to learn how to work in a rapidly-growing environment, such as using microservices and tackling large-scale issues.

What’s the best thing about working within a team?
Being on a team is rewarding because of the joint sense of effort and commitment to getting the job done well, and knowing that you’re there for one another.
