Life at Orca Security revolves around the Pod – the people who have joined Orca’s mission to make the cloud a safer place for all. The ‘Pod Spotlight’ is a Q&A series dedicated to showcasing all of the amazing talent at Orca Security.
Today we’re spotlighting Koby Kagan, Senior Technical Support Engineer working from the Tel Aviv, Israel office.
Why did you choose to work at Orca Security, and when did you join?
I joined Orca in July 2021, and I chose to join the company because I loved the idea behind the technology and the people who work here.
What advice do you have for people getting started in your field?
My advice would be to learn as much as you can, as fast as you can. Technology changes often and fast, so being a constant learner willing to soak up new information is needed.
How has working at Orca Security challenged you to grow?
Cloud was new to me, and everything related to Orca revolves around the cloud. No pun intended, but I had to jump into deep water right away.
What’s the best thing about working within a team?
I believe that more minds means more creativity is possible. This encourages our growth both personally and as a team, which for me is the most satisfying part of working with a great group of people.
