ABOUT THE ROLE

The IT Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT department, managing a small team of IT professionals, and ensuring that all systems, networks, and assets are secure, efficient, and effective. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in both Windows and macOS environments, experience in asset management, and a deep understanding of IT security and systems hardening. They will also be responsible for managing SSO/IDP configurations, MDM system, automating processes, and handling user access grants. This role requires a leader with a vision for continuous improvement and the ability to execute on that vision.

On a typical day you’ll:

  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a small IT team, providing direction, support, and development opportunities.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve IT processes and team efficiency.
    • Plan and manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals.
  • Systems Management:
    • Oversee the management of both Windows and macOS systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
    • Implement and manage asset management systems to track and maintain IT resources.
    • Ensure all systems are secure through proper hardening practices and regular updates.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Manage IT security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
    • Lead efforts in systems hardening to protect against vulnerabilities.
    • Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for secure and efficient access control.
  • Process Automation:
    • Identify opportunities for automation within IT processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
    • Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for tasks such as user provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • User Support & Network Management:
    • Provide top-tier support for all IT-related issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.
    • Oversee office networking, including troubleshooting and ensuring optimal performance.
    • Manage the provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts and access rights.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Regularly review and improve IT processes, tools, and systems.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices, applying them to enhance IT operations.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT managerial role, preferably within a medium-sized company.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT in general.
  • Strong knowledge of both Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Experience with asset management, IT security, and systems hardening.
  • Proven experience in managing SSO configurations, MDM and automation processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace suite
  • Solid understanding of office networking, including LAN/WAN, routers, and switches.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to IT management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in relevant IT disciplines (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL).
  • Experience in global or multi-site IT management.

This position is based in our TLV office, with a hybrid work arrangement of 4 days in-office and 1 day remote.
